the west street
In Yangshuo town.there is a charming street named the west street.we also call it “the foreigner street”.it's about nearly 600 meters long,and 3-6 meters wide.it was built in Sui dynasty at the first begining(more than 1,400 years ago).now,most of the houses and builts existed in Qing dynasty (may be 500 years ago).it full of Chinese traditional style, stone roads and old wooden houses.now.it become more and more famous and attractive along with the development of tourism business.there are many bars ,restaurants,cafes,hotels and shops located both of the west street. Especially the evening of the west street is beautiful and charming.
The recommend reasons as follows:
1.Never feeling alone and strange in the west street,stay in the west street just like stay in your hometown.
2.Easy to chat with each other,the local people can speak good English.besides the tourists come from all over the world ,you can chat with each other by speaking English.

Yangshuo Market
The food markets in Yangshuo are a less well known feature of the town but are great to see nevertheless. The daytime market is near the bus station on the road out to Guilin selling everything from mountains of fresh vegetables to buckets of frogs and tasty morsels of dog meat. This is perhaps not a place for the squeamish but a great way to see an authentic market in Yangshuo.

Rock climbing
Yangshuo is really a good place for rock climbing because of the karst peaks.it's made up of limestone,the peaks is very hard and precipitous.so it attracts many adventurers to climb those karst peaks.if you want to get a good achievement at Rock climbing.you must full of self-confidence, bravery,and perseverance.so ,we also call its another name ‘the real man sport'. the Rock climbing between Yangshuo and others is surely different.because ,after you get to the top ,you can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the top in Yangshuo !

Cormorant fishing
What is the cormorant?It's a kind of bird which can help the fisherman catch fish.there is a local culture existed 1,000 years old named ‘the cormorant fishing light show' festival.you can image that tens of the bamboo go along the Li river up and down as well as the cormorant catching the fish !now,people didn't depend on the cormorants to catch the fish ,but the performance of cormorant fishing still worth to have a look.it's very wonderful!

The great light show of ‘Liu sanjie'
It was directed by one of China's best movie directors (the same one who is heading the Olympic Opening Ceremony show for Beijing 2008) this live show features over 600 locals as performers on the river itself, has been through 109 revisions, boasts 67 design artists, 12 karts mountain peaks all illuminated to music and 1.65 square kilometers of the Li River as its stage! I do sure that it was the best live show you have ever seen.

Kayaking on the Li River
If you want to get close to the Li river and nature scenery,the best choice is take a kayak go down the Li river by yourself.you can get start from the ancient town of Fuli paddle your way south down the Li River to Puyi. Although the karst formations tend not to rise as dramatically from the river as between Yangdi and Xingping this stretch of river is beautifully serene with very little traffic. It is also an excellent opportunity to watch rural riverside life as fisherman maintain their nets and farmers let their water buffalo enjoy the water and reeds of the river.

Hiking
The most beautiful area of Li river is between Xingping town and Yangdi town.you can take a boat pass by this area quickly,but I think you can't enjoy the most beautiful scenery completely,so the best way to enjoy the nature and the Li river completely is hiking. It will takes you through small local villages, fields, bamboo forests and along the shores of the mighty Li River where usually there are very few tourists.everything is so freely and light-hearted in the trip!

explore the water cave
There are many water cave underground in Yangshuo,explore the water cave and take a mud bath is very interesting.we recommend you have a try.Dragon water cave is a big and beautiful cave of Yangshuo, Spend 1.5 to 3 or more hours inside the 3km long cave passing through 3 mountains as you go. Whilst inside the cave you can go boating, wading and swimming in many crystal clear pools. You can dive from a 3m high platform into the clear water below. Try out the mud slide and slide into the MUD BATH. You can shower under a lot of waterfalls. You can play tunes on some of the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites you will encounter. You will probably see fish and other fauna.

Quite new in Yangshuo is the opportunity to get up in a balloon and see the spectacular surrounding from above, You have 2 different options:(1) Just up and down at a stationary place, takes about 10 minutes A free flight. (2)The balloon goes around in the area for either one or two hours.The organization of balloning is by experts in the field and completely safe.
